Grouper- Adding and Editing Membership in a Group (Video Demo)

IT Services recently rolled out updates and design changes to grouper.uchicago.edu. These changes were made in an attempt to make the site more user friendly. It is important to understand some of the basic functionality associated with using this site following these upgrades. One of the most important things that users will need to understand how to do is to add and edit member privileges in a group.
In order to add a member to a group, there are a couple of actions that you can take. To begin, you can either search for a specific group using the search bar in the upper right of the screen, or if you have added a group to your favorites list, you can find it there.
To add a member, you should select the Add members button on the right side of the screen.
Here, you can input a person’s name or ID (CNet or UCHAD) and select the Add button.
To edit a person’s privileges or the dates of his/her membership, select the Edit Membership and Privileges button from the drop-down next to a person’s name. Here, you can set start and end dates and alter a person’s editing abilities within a group.
