Leader (Organization)

Emails sent via Chalk will display in the following format when delivered. (displaying of email may vary dependent upon the email program that is being used):

Announcements sent by an instructor or leader via Chalk will display a fictitious email address as the sender (do-not-reply@uchicago.edu). Replying to the email will populate the message to be delivered to the instructor or leader.

(displaying of email may vary dependent upon the email program that is being used).

In some instances, notification emails sent by Chalk (i.e. new course items, grades, discussion forum posts) will also display a fictitious email address (do-not-reply@uchicago.edu), or Blackboard Administrator (chalk@uchicago.edu) as the sender. Replies to these notification emails will not be delivered to the instructor or leader because they were sent originally by the Chalk system and not the instructor or leader.
