Business Objects - Webi - Avoiding Duplicate Row Aggregation (showing all the detail rows)

This article explains how to show detail rows of data in reporting tables.

This article explains how to show detail rows of data in reporting tables.

When using tables in a report, data is aggregated by default (measures are summed) when all dimensional and detail values are the same for a set of rows. To see the individual detailed rows, you have to separate the aggregated measures. There are two ways to do this.

Assign Unique Values to Each Row to Differentiate Them

Add a field to the table that differentiates the rows of data using unique values.

Adjust the Table Formatting

To change the formatting of the table:

  1. Right-click the edge of the table and select Format table.
  2. Turn on the first option Avoid duplicate row aggregation.
