ServiceNow (ITSM) - How to Access Self-Service as a Non-ITIL User
This article explains how an ITIL user can view the ServiceNow interface available to non-ITIL users.
- Log on to ServiceNow as per usual (see Document 60521 is unavailable at this time. ).
- Go to https://uchicago.service-now.com/itservices/
This will allow you to view (and use) the self-service portal available to non-ITIL users. The primary difference you will see is if you use the "Check Status" option; your ITIL privileges will leak through at that level, and you will see more information and options in the resulting list than a non-ITIL user sees.
