G Suite - Gmail - Send Mail from a Different Address

This article explains how to add and send mail from another e-mail address or alias using gmail.

  1. In Gmail, click the gear at the top right and then click Settings in the drop-down menu.

  2. Click the tab labeled Accounts and Import.

  3. Click Add another email address you own.

  4. Enter your new email address or alias and click Next Step.

  5. Click Send Verification and follow the link in the email.

  6. You can now send mail as any of your accounts by selecting them in the drop-down menu in the From field when composing an email.
