Any of these actions will launch Edit mode and open the Editing Tools tab group in the ribbon. These tabs include all of the text formatting tools, as well as tools for adding tables, pictures, links, files, web parts, and lists. The content area also becomes active in Edit mode. When web parts are selected, additional tools become available in the ribbon.
