Gleacher Center - Inter-office Calling

This article contains inter-office dialing instructions to remote locations including Gleacher and 401 N. Michigan.

The Gleacher Center, a division of Chicago Booth School of Business, has migrated to the University and Campus telephone system. To call another destination, follow these simple instructions:

Call another phone in Gleacher:

  • dial 4-digit extension

Make a local or long distance phone call:

  • dial 9, 1, followed by the 10-digit telephone number

University Locations can be reached using a site-code followed by the extension, eliminating local dialing expenses between locations. Use the following guide to reach your destination.

Hyde Park Campus to Gleacher:

  • dial 172, followed by 4-digit extension

Gleacher to Hyde Park Campus:

  • dial 170, followed by 5-digit extension

Gleacher to 401 N. Michigan (Investment Office)

  • dial 171, followed by 5-digit extension

Gleacher to 401 N. Michigan (all other business)

  • dial 170, followed by 5-digit extension

To manage your own phone and voicemail

Use your CNetID and password to access: https://myphone.uchicago.edu

  • Change telephone extension forwarding target
  • Update Mobility settings, destinations and schedules
  • Record standard voicemail greetings, vacation or holiday greetings
  • Set greeting schedules
  • Change Voicemail PIN for checking voicemail using 2-MyVM
