Computing Classrooms

This article describes IT Services-provided computing classroom space.

Academic and Scholarly Technology Services operates three computer-based classrooms and collaboration facilities on campus. These classrooms are available throughout the year and host a standard suite of software including Microsoft Office, SSH and SFTP clients, statistical analysis packages, as well as department-sponsored academic applications.

Biological Sciences Learning Center 018

The Biological Sciences Learning Center houses a computer classroom referred to as BSLC018. The classroom is a tiered environment and is available to academic classes in need of hands-on computer access.

  • BSLC018 offers 36 Windows workstations and a standard media classroom equipment package that includes a teacher's workstation and an LCD projector.

Wieboldt 310C

Academic Technology Services manages and maintains a multimedia computer classroom on the 3rd floor of Wieboldt, connected to Harper Commons at the west tower. This facility is available to academic classes in need of hands-on computer access. This classroom is available on occasion to other University groups for a fee.

  • Wieboldt 310C offers 19 Mac workstations and a standard media classroom equipment package that includes a teacher's workstation and an LCD projector.

Walker 303

Academic Technology Services manages and maintains a multimedia computer classrooms on the 3rd floor of Walker, connected to Rosenwald. This facility is available to academic classes in need of hands-on computer access. This classroom is available on occasion to other University groups for a fee.

  • Walker 303 offers 20 PC work stations and a standard media classroom equipped package that includes a teacher's workstation and a 80 inch display.
