How do I create a password?

Password protection is available to protect unauthorized access to additional options and changing status. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that all page holders use a password.

Once you select a password (up to seven digits), you must enter it in the future before the system will allow access to the Additional Options menu. Because you alone enter your password, and only you can change it, complete security is assured.

To create or change a password:

  • Dial your pager number
  • When you hear "To access personal options" press the star key & enter your 4-digit ID number
  • When you are prompted for a password enter your 4-digit ID number or if you have created a password enter the number you have created followed by the # sign

  • When you hear "To change your password" press "1"
  • Once you set your password you will be required to enter that password in order to access your personal options in the future.

  • When you hear "To record a personal greeting" press "1"
  • When you hear "Please speak your personal greeting" speak your personal greeting then press # when finished.

To change or delete your Personal Greeting at any time, please follow the same set of instructions and the system will prompt you.

To record your name:

  • Dial your pager number.
  • When you hear "To access personal options" press the star key & enter your 4-digit ID number
  • When you are prompted for a password enter your 4-digit ID number or if you have created a password enter the number you have created followed by the # sign
