RADIUS Authentication Overview

This article gives a technical overview of the RADIUS authentication service.

RADIUS is a network protocol used to provide authentication, authorization and accounting services for network devices such as wireless and VPN clients.

The Using the Wireless Network and VPN FAQs documents contain more information on how to use the wireless network or VPN.

If you have a service that for some reason needs to use the IT Services RADIUS servers directly, please contact the IT Services Service Desk as that will require agreement and coordination with IT Services.
