How can I learn about features on my phone (such as transfer, conference call, call forward, and hold/retrieve)?

You can press ciscohelp.jpg to learn more about the features of your IP phone. See also Telephones - VoIP - Quick Reference Guides. Some features are available only on request; others are standard.

Why do the features on my screen change?

Your IP phone uses softkeys for accessing call features and options. Softkeys change according to the state of the phone. For a list of softkeys, see Telephones - VoIP - Softkey Features.

What phone models are available?

We provide several IP phone models. For a list of our phone models and and their features, visit our Rates and Instruments page.

Will my other analog devices work with the IP system (i.e. answering machine, fax machine)?

For information about a specific analog device, call 2-5800 (773-702-5800) option 2, or send an email to itservices@uchicago.edu.

What does the Services button do?

Currently, this feature is disabled.
